Yesterday was my first day at my new job! I got my own cubicle with computer, phone, printer and tons of stationary! except the calculator sucks:( It doesn't have the functions I like but the only cool features about it is unit conversion from every possible unit you think!! with one click!!I haven't seen a calculator like that one before. I set up my voice mail and logged in to the computer software that I needed, except for Lotus Notes, that will be done I think today! Started reading SOPs for this position and reviewing the ones I already have been signed off. I am in a close vicinity of my previous work place, and if want I can see the spot I used to work, stand, sit! When yesterday I looked through the doors, I had the strangest feeling, as if myself still working there..it was the strangest feeling. Needed to go in anyways to get my previous training binder, I saw my group, said hi, hugged and I tried so hard not to become emotional! At the end of the day, I was so sleepy and tired of reading, that I could not comprehend the test questions!! I am reading SOP for the week anyways. I thanked God for giving me the opportunity that I didn't think will happen. It's funny that I could see faces who were happy for me, faces who were jealous and faces who were sad to see me leave.
